About the course
The Care for Domestic Birds course was created for those who want to learn how to properly care for pet birds such as cockatiels, parakeets, canaries, parrots, and other species kept in domestic environments. It is ideal for beginner caretakers or individuals interested in providing a healthier and safer life for their birds. Throughout the course, the student will learn about proper nutrition, types of cages and accessories, hygiene, environmental enrichment, socialization, and prevention of common diseases. The course also covers guidance on handling, behavior, and warning signs to seek veterinary help. Upon completing the content, the student will be able to take a quiz with objective questions that serve to review and test the acquired knowledge. The test is simple and direct, helping the student reinforce the main points covered throughout the course. After passing the quiz, the student will have the option to obtain a completion certificate for a nominal fee.
