About the course
The Fraud Prevention Technician course was created to train people interested in working in the identification, prevention, and combating of fraud in different sectors, such as financial, commercial, corporate, and digital. It is ideal for those who want to understand how fraud mechanisms work and how to protect themselves or an organization against these practices. Throughout the course, the student will learn about the main types of fraud, such as bank fraud, documentary fraud, electronic fraud, and internal fraud. Techniques for investigation, monitoring suspicious behaviors, information security standards, and best practices for loss prevention will be addressed. Case studies and best practices adopted by companies and institutions will also be presented. At the end of the course, the student will take a quiz with questions based on the content studied. This test serves as a practical way to assess the understanding of key concepts, reinforce learning, and ensure that the necessary knowledge has been clearly assimilated. After completing the course and quiz, the student has the option to acquire a completion certificate for a symbolic fee. This document can be used to enhance a resume, demonstrate qualification in selection processes, or be presented in academic and professional activities. This is an open course, accessible to all interested parties, as permitted by the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (LDB), Law No. 9,394/1996, and Presidential Decree No. 5,154, of July 23, 2004.
