About the course
The Ice Cream Making course was developed for those who want to learn how to produce ice cream in an artisanal way or on a small scale, either for personal consumption or as a business opportunity. With simple and practical language, the course presents the steps and necessary care to create tasty and quality ice creams. During the course, the student will learn about the basic ingredients, correct proportions, pasteurization techniques, emulsification, and maturation. It will also cover different types of ice cream, such as creamy ice cream, popsicle, sorbet, and frozen yogurt, as well as tips for conservation, presentation, and product sales. At the end of the course, the student will take a quiz with questions related to the content studied. After completing the quiz, the student may acquire, if desired, a completion certificate for a symbolic fee. This certificate can be useful to enhance the resume, prove learning in free courses, and even add value when starting a small business in the food sector. This is a free course, completely accessible to anyone, as guaranteed by the National Education Guidelines and Bases Law (LDB), Law No. 9.394/1996, and by Presidential Decree No. 5.154, of July 23, 2004.
