About the course

The Public Speaking course was developed to help anyone communicate better in front of an audience, whether in meetings, school presentations, or professional events. With accessible language and direct content, the course is ideal for those who want to overcome the fear of public speaking and develop more confidence in expressing themselves. Throughout the course, students will learn techniques of public speaking, control of body language, strategies to maintain audience attention, as well as practical tips for preparing and organizing a speech. The content was designed to provide efficient learning, even for those who have never had contact with the subject before. At the end of the course, students will have access to a quiz with objective questions that help reinforce the studied content. The test is a form of self-assessment and also serves as a prerequisite for those who wish to acquire the completion certificate. The certificate is optional and can be obtained for a symbolic fee after passing the quiz. It serves as proof of course completion and can be included in resumes, presented in selection processes, or used as complementary hours in educational institutions, according to the rules of each location. This is a free, open course available to all interested individuals, regardless of educational background. It is in accordance with the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (LDB), Law No. 9,394/1996, and with Presidential Decree No. 5,154, of July 23, 2004, which regulate the offer of open courses in Brazil.
