About the course

The Sound Operator course was developed for those who wish to understand the technical and creative aspects behind audio capture, manipulation, and transmission in different contexts. Whether in studios, live events, audiovisual productions, or radio and TV stations, the sound operator is an essential professional to ensure audio quality. During the course, the student will learn about the main equipment used, such as soundboards, microphones, cables, interfaces, and editing software. It will also cover notions of acoustics, equalization, mixing, assembling sound systems, and best practices in the professional environment.
