About the course
The Sound Operator course was developed for those who wish to understand the technical and creative aspects behind audio capture, manipulation, and transmission in different contexts. Whether in studios, live events, audiovisual productions, or radio and TV stations, the sound operator is an essential professional to ensure audio quality. During the course, the student will learn about the main equipment used, such as soundboards, microphones, cables, interfaces, and editing software. It will also cover notions of acoustics, equalization, mixing, assembling sound systems, and best practices in the professional environment. All content is presented in a simple and accessible language. At the end of the course, the student can test their knowledge through an online quiz. This assessment helps reinforce the main concepts learned and verify if the student is prepared to apply their knowledge in practice. Those who complete the course and wish to prove their qualifications can obtain a completion certificate for a symbolic fee. This document can be useful to enhance the resume, prove study or training hours, and even increase chances in selection processes. This is a free course, which means it can be taken by anyone, regardless of education level. It is legally supported by the National Education Guidelines and Bases Law (LDB) No. 9.394/1996 and by Presidential Decree No. 5.154, of July 23, 2004, which regulate the offer of non-formal education courses for professional qualification.
