About the course

The Truck Mechanics course was developed for those who want to learn more about the operation, maintenance, and repair of heavy vehicles. Completely online and free, it is ideal for both beginners and those who already have some experience and want to update or expand their knowledge in the area of automotive mechanics focused on trucks. Throughout the course, the student will have access to content on truck engine systems, brakes, suspension, transmission, and electrical systems. We also address recommended practices for preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and safety notions in working with heavy vehicles. Everything is explained clearly and objectively, with accessible language. At the end of the course, the student will be invited to take a quiz with multiple-choice questions. This test aims to assess how much of the presented content was assimilated and helps to solidify the main concepts covered throughout the course. After completing the quiz, the student has the option to obtain a completion certificate, which is a symbolic document valid throughout the national territory. This certificate can be used to prove complementary hours, enhance the resume, or demonstrate knowledge in selective processes and job interviews. This is a free course, meaning it does not require a minimum level of education to participate. It is in accordance with the Guidelines and Bases Law of National Education (LDB), nº 9,394/1996, and with Presidential Decree nº 5,154, of July 23, 2004, which regulate the offering of free courses in Brazil.
