About the course

The Socioeducational Agent course is ideal for those who wish to work in the area of socio-educational measures, contributing to the reintegration of adolescents in conflict with the law. It presents the foundations and practices of this profession essential for the promotion of citizenship and human rights, focusing on ethics, discipline, and the transformative role of the agent. During the course, the student will learn about the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA), the rights and duties of adolescents, types of socio-educational measures, as well as approach techniques, conflict resolution, and institutional routines. We also address topics such as teamwork, interpersonal communication, and legal aspects of professional practice. At the end of the content, the student will be invited to take a quiz with objective questions related to what has been studied. This test aims to reinforce learning and ensure that the main points have been understood, serving as a self-assessment of the knowledge acquired. After completing the course and passing the quiz, the student will have the option to obtain a completion certificate for a symbolic fee. This certificate can be used to enhance the resume, present in selection processes, earn complementary hours in college, or prove knowledge in the area. This is a free course, which means it is open to anyone interested, without any educational requirements or prerequisites. It is supported by the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (LDB), Law No. 9,394/1996, and by Presidential Decree No. 5,154, of July 23, 2004, which regulate the offering of professional education courses and free courses in Brazil.
