About the course

The Exotic Insect Breeding course was developed for those interested in learning about the handling and breeding of unusual species such as beetles, exotic cockroaches, crickets, praying mantises, and other insects kept for hobby, research, or commercial purposes. It is ideal for beginners, the curious, and potential breeders. Throughout the course, the student will learn about the most popular types of exotic insects, their basic needs, feeding, reproduction, care for the breeding environment, and guidance on safety and environmental responsibility. Legal requirements for the ethical and safe breeding of these animals will also be addressed. After studying the content, the student can take a quiz composed of objective questions that help reinforce and test the knowledge acquired. This step is important to ensure a good understanding of the topics covered. After passing the quiz, the student can obtain a certificate of completion, which is optional and available for a nominal fee. This certificate can be used to demonstrate learning, enhance the resume, or complement educational activities.
