About the course

The course Use of Insects in Agriculture was developed to present a sustainable and efficient approach in pest management and improving agricultural production. During the course, the student will learn about the different types of beneficial insects used in agriculture, such as natural enemies of pests, pollinators, and decomposers. It will also cover the methods of breeding, releasing, and monitoring these insects, as well as the advantages of biological control compared to the use of pesticides. At the end of the course, the student can take a quiz to test the acquired knowledge. The questions are based on the studied content and aim to reinforce learning, allowing the student to evaluate their performance in a practical way. After completing the quiz, the student will have the option to obtain a completion certificate for a small fee.
