About the course
The TIG Welding (GTAW) course by BrazilWelds was developed to present in a clear and accessible way the fundamentals of this important welding process widely used in the industry. Throughout the course, the student will have contact with essential concepts, even without previous experience, learning through didactically organized text content. During the course, the student will learn about the operation of the TIG (GTAW) process, the equipment used, types of electrodes, shielding gases, and applicable materials. Basic welding techniques, care in preparing the parts, and notions of quality and finish of the welds will also be addressed. Upon completing all the content, the student must take a quiz with objective questions to test the knowledge acquired during the course. This quiz aims to reinforce learning and verify the understanding of the main topics presented. After passing the quiz, the student can choose to purchase a completion certificate upon payment of a symbolic fee. The certificate can be used to prove knowledge in the area, enhance the resume, and demonstrate interest in professional qualification. This is a free, online, and open course, accessible to anyone, regardless of educational level. It is in accordance with the Guidelines and Bases for National Education Law (LDB), No. 9,394/1996, and with Presidential Decree No. 5,154, of July 23, 2004, which regulate the offer of open courses in Brazil.
