About the course

The Surgical Instrumentation Assistant course was developed for those who wish to work in support of surgical procedures, assisting healthcare professionals in the organization, sterilization, and handling of instruments. During the course, the student will learn about the role of the surgical instrumentation assistant, the main instruments used in surgeries, aseptic techniques, the stages of the surgical process, and best practices in the hospital environment.
