About the course

The Wild Bird Management and Conservation course offers a complete introduction to responsible practices for the care, preservation, and rehabilitation of native and exotic birds. The student will learn about the importance of conserving these species for environmental balance and about the proper management practices that respect animal welfare and current environmental legislation. Topics covered during the course include species identification, feeding, habitat, reproduction, health control, and management techniques in captivity and in the wild. The content also presents strategies for the conservation and recovery of threatened birds, as well as guidance on environmental education and ecological awareness. At the end of the course, the student can take a quiz to assess their learning and reinforce the main concepts studied. The questionnaire was developed based on the course content, allowing for a practical and interactive review of the knowledge acquired. After completing the quiz, the student will have the option to obtain a symbolic certificate of completion. This certificate can be used to enhance a resume, demonstrate expertise in environmental topics, enrich academic portfolios, or show interest in the field of wildlife management and conservation.
