About the course
The Fish Nutrition course presents the essential fundamentals about feeding and nutritional management in fish farming systems. The student will learn about the importance of a balanced diet for the healthy growth of fish and the sustainable development of aquaculture activity, understanding how nutrition directly influences productivity and the quality of cultivation. During the course, topics such as the types of nutrients needed by fish, feed formulation, feeding techniques, nutritional requirements at different life stages, and good feeding management practices will be addressed. The student will also learn about the impacts of nutrition on animal welfare and the economic efficiency of production. At the end of the course, the participant will be able to take a quiz to test the knowledge acquired.
