About the course

The Meat Handling course was developed for those who want to learn the correct and safe techniques in handling meat, whether for domestic or professional use. With simple and accessible language, the content is suitable for beginners as well as those already working in the field and looking to update their knowledge. During the course, students will learn about the types of cuts, proper conservation, hygiene in preparation, and best practices to avoid contamination. Topics such as storage, ideal temperature, and meat quality identification will also be covered, all with a focus on food safety. At the end of the course, students can test their knowledge through an objective quiz with questions related to the content studied. This assessment serves as a way to reinforce learning and ensure that the main concepts have been correctly understood. Upon completion of the course and passing the quiz, students can obtain a completion certificate for a symbolic fee. This certificate can be used to enhance their resume, demonstrate hours of study, or show qualifications in job interviews or promotions. This is an open course, available to everyone, with no educational requirements or prerequisites. It is supported by the National Education Guidelines and Bases Law (LDB) No. 9,394/1996, and by Presidential Decree No. 5,154 of July 23, 2004, which regulate the offering of open courses in Brazil.
