About the course
The course Taking Care of Personal Finances was created to help anyone better organize their financial life, regardless of income or level of education. With a practical and accessible approach, the course shows how small changes in daily life can make a big difference in your wallet. During the course, the student will learn how to efficiently track expenses, create a personal budget, identify unnecessary expenses, set financial goals, and understand the importance of an emergency fund. Basic concepts about debts, interest, investments, and short, medium, and long-term planning will also be covered. At the end of the course, the student will take a quiz with questions based on the studied content. This test aims to reinforce learning and check the assimilation of the main concepts of personal finance presented throughout the classes. After completing the quiz, the student may, if desired, purchase a completion certificate for a nominal fee. This certificate can be used to enhance the resume, prove study hours, or demonstrate knowledge in selection processes and academic activities. This is a free online course, offered in accordance with the National Education Guidelines and Bases Law (LDB), Law No. 9,394/1996, and Presidential Decree No. 5,154, of July 23, 2004. There is no educational requirement to participate, and the content can be accessed by anyone interested.
